Integration Engineer

Introduction

In order to set up data governance solutions or modern data platforms at our clients we are looking to strengthen our team with an integration engineer.

Have you had your first experience or recently graduated with a bachelor or master’s degree and eager to have a true impact on clients? Do you have a passion for technology? Do you like to contribute to a team and tackle complex problems together? You want to design and build data solutions to deliver true value to businesses? You are not afraid to be challenged intellectually and personally?

Your Responsibilities

• Develop your skills to build maintainable data solutions (metadata pipelines, workflow automation, data profiling, data classification solutions, ...)
• Translate business processes into a solution taking into account the user experience
• Build efficient interconnections between the different systems in the application landscape of our customers
• Work together with system owners, solution architects and business consultants to deliver value to our customers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data technology and share your knowledge with your colleagues and clients
• Set-up monitoring of the quality and stability of data solutions

Your Qualifications

• First experience in deploying solutions on Linux
• First experience in programming in one or more languages like Python, Java, Javascript, Groovyscript, …
• First experience in troubleshooting log files
• Basic understanding of network security
• Basic understanding of JDBC connections
• Notion of RESTful API’s
• Notion of Docker, Kubernetes etc. You agree on the fact that 'containers' aren’t only used in the harbour ;-)
• You have basic notion or interested in BPMN
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
